Mechanical engineer with first degree and MSc in Mechanical Engineering, working towards completion of a PhD. Research experience includes the modelling of flows in Welsh coastal sites using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods, interaction of marine fauna with pressure changes experienced in high flow rate tidal streams and other aspects of marine renewable energy.
Role in SOLCER
Project member responsible for the assessment of tidal impoundment resources, modelling of the energy production pattern and undertaking feasibility studies. Evaluation of solutions to provide renewable energy supply to appropriate storage systems and eventually to the demand network.
